Canadian Health Coalition
Lobby Comes to Ottawa to
Fight for Medicare

On December 9-10, the Canadian Health Coalition brought over 400 concerned citizens from across Canada to Ottawa to Support the Romanow Commission Report. The lobby included seniors, nurses, doctors, health activists and policy experts. They met with MPs, cabinet ministers, and senior government officials to express their support for the Romanow Commission Report. Canadians from coast-to-coast have clearly expressed their support for the immediate implementation of the Romanow Report. It’s time for government to act.

The following "Medicare Lobby" coverage includes two articles from the Toronto Star, official transcripts from proceedings in the House of Commons, and expert presentations from the Medicare Lobby Briefing .
