{"id":14513,"date":"2024-02-21T19:12:17","date_gmt":"2024-02-21T23:12:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.healthcoalition.ca\/?p=14513"},"modified":"2024-02-21T20:10:06","modified_gmt":"2024-02-22T00:10:06","slug":"les-syndicats-appellent-a-lintervention-des-verificateurs-generaux-pour-faire-la-lumiere-sur-les-agences-dinfirmieres-privees","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.healthcoalition.ca\/fr\/les-syndicats-appellent-a-lintervention-des-verificateurs-generaux-pour-faire-la-lumiere-sur-les-agences-dinfirmieres-privees\/","title":{"rendered":"Les syndicats appellent \u00e0 l\u2019intervention des v\u00e9rificateurs g\u00e9n\u00e9raux pour faire la lumi\u00e8re sur les agences d\u2019infirmi\u00e8res priv\u00e9es"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Linda Silas, pr\u00e9sidente de la F\u00e9d\u00e9ration canadienne des syndicats d\u2019infirmi\u00e8res et infirmiers, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 que son organisation \u00e9crirait cette semaine \u00e0 tous les v\u00e9rificateurs g\u00e9n\u00e9raux et ministres de la Sant\u00e9 du Canada pour leur demander d\u2019enqu\u00eater sur les co\u00fbts et l\u2019impact des agences de dotation en personnel infirmier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tout citoyen peut se plaindre aupr\u00e8s de son v\u00e9rificateur g\u00e9n\u00e9ral.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Selon le D<sup>r<\/sup> Raghu Venugopal, urgentologue \u00e0 Toronto, le m\u00e9pris flagrant du Canada (et en particulier de l\u2019Ontario) pour les infirmi\u00e8res financ\u00e9es par l\u2019\u00c9tat et le transfert inconsid\u00e9r\u00e9 de fonds publics \u00e0 des profiteurs est un scandale. La solution \u00e0 long terme est d\u2019augmenter le salaire des infirmi\u00e8res, leur donner de la flexibilit\u00e9 et nous d\u00e9barrasser de ces agences parasitaires.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Canada\u2019s (especially Ontario\u2019s) naked contempt for publicly funded nurses and reckless transfer of public funds to profiteers is a scandal. Any citizen can complain to their Auditor General. We must boost nurses salaries, give them flexibility and get rid of parasitic agencies. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/rNqggZoyQ8\">pic.twitter.com\/rNqggZoyQ8<\/a><\/p>&mdash; Raghu Venugopal MD (@raghu_venugopal) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/raghu_venugopal\/status\/1759770349317591086?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">February 20, 2024<\/a><\/blockquote> <script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00ab\u2009C\u2019est ahurissant\u2009\u00bb, a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbc.ca\/news\/canada\/newfoundland-labrador\/auditor-general-travel-nurse-report-1.7119608\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Yvette Coffey<\/a>, pr\u00e9sidente du Syndicat des infirmi\u00e8res et infirmiers autoris\u00e9s de Terre-Neuve-et-Labrador (SIIATNL). \u00ab\u2009L\u2019absence de surveillance au nom de Terre-Neuve-et-Labrador est stup\u00e9fiante.\u2009\u00bb<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Selon le <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theglobeandmail.com\/canada\/article-how-canadian-hospitals-grew-dependent-on-expensive-out-of-town-nurses\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><em>Globe and Mail<\/em><\/a>, Canadian Health Labs fait partie d\u2019une industrie florissante de recrutement de personnel de sant\u00e9 \u00e0 but lucratif qui a commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 se d\u00e9velopper de mani\u00e8re agressive pendant la pand\u00e9mie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La soci\u00e9t\u00e9 a exig\u00e9 des paiements qui, dans certains cas, repr\u00e9sentaient des taux horaires de plus de 300&nbsp;$ pour chaque infirmi\u00e8re, soit environ six fois le salaire habituel d\u2019une infirmi\u00e8re travaillant dans un h\u00f4pital du Canada atlantique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Selon <a href=\"https:\/\/nursesunions.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/2022-11_nurse_contracts-1.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">une \u00e9tude de la F\u00e9d\u00e9ration canadienne des syndicats d\u2019infirmi\u00e8res et infirmiers<\/a>, une infirmi\u00e8re du secteur public gagne entre 39&nbsp;$ et 51&nbsp;$\/heure en Alberta. Au Nouveau-Brunswick, c\u2019est entre 37&nbsp;$ et 45&nbsp;$\/heure, mais une infirmi\u00e8re qui travaille pour Canadian Health Labs (CHL) gagne entre 85&nbsp;$ et 100&nbsp;$\/heure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les tarifs les plus \u00e9lev\u00e9s de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 CHL \u00e9taient plus du double de ceux pratiqu\u00e9s par ses concurrents du secteur priv\u00e9. CHL a n\u00e9anmoins sign\u00e9 des contrats qui valaient des dizaines de millions de dollars avec les autorit\u00e9s sanitaires de Terre-Neuve-et-Labrador et, plus tard, du Nouveau-Brunswick.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Selon le <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theglobeandmail.com\/canada\/article-how-canadian-hospitals-grew-dependent-on-expensive-out-of-town-nurses\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><em>Globe<\/em><\/a>, Terre-Neuve a d\u00e9pens\u00e9 35,6\u00a0millions de dollars en agences de dotation en personnel infirmier entre avril et ao\u00fbt de l\u2019ann\u00e9e derni\u00e8re, comparativement \u00e0 une moyenne d\u2019un peu plus d\u2019un million de dollars par an avant la pand\u00e9mie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La CHL a factur\u00e9 \u00e0 Terre-Neuve-et-Labrador 1,6\u00a0million de dollars en indemnit\u00e9s de repas pour les infirmi\u00e8res, alors que les contrats de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 avec les infirmi\u00e8res exigeaient qu\u2019elles paient elles-m\u00eames leur nourriture.
