Join health care workers, patients and advocates as we take to Parliament Hill to defend and expand public health care.
2025 Health & Hope Lobby on Parliament Hill
Monday, February 24 | Tuesday, February 25 | Wednesday, February 26
Sheraton Ottawa Hotel, 150 Albert St., Ottawa
It will be an election year. We plan to press every political party to make commitments on health care.
- We want enforcement of the Canada Health Act.
- We don’t want more privatization, for-profit clinics, and a two-tiered system that benefits the wealthy over everyone else.
- We want an end to systemic racism in health care.
The 2025 Canadian Health Coalition Lobby will feature:
- A conference and lobby training
- Meetings with parliamentarians
- Rally for public health care on Parliament Hill
- Reception with MPs and Senators
- Networking opportunities with government, unions and social justice organizations
- A post-lobby debrief and strategizing session
Next year’s lobby day is part of the Canadian Health Coalition’s Health + Hope 2025 campaign to achieve the four health care commitments in the landmark deal between Liberal Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh.

- Safe long-term care
- Public dental care
- Investments in primary health care and in health care workers
