This summer, Canada’s premiers will be gathering at the Deerhurst Resort, near Huntsville Ontario. Let’s make sure that they hear our message for public health care.

The Ontario Health Coalition, Canadian Health Coalition and Ontario Federation of Labour are inviting everyone to a Shadow Summit, Car Calvacade and Mass Rally.

Come together, share information, connect with one another and raise key health care issues on the local, provincial and national stage. The Shadow Summit will be held at the Hidden Valley Resort, next door to the Deerhurst Resort, where the premiers are meeting.

The Shadow Summit will feature speakers on the dangers of profiteering in health care, the privatization of primary care and virtual care, the fight to implement and expand public pharmacare across Canada, the status of efforts to improve staffing ratios in hospitals and working conditions in long-term and continuing care, best models for home and community care, and the struggle to make health care a human right and accessible to all.

Check out the schedule here

On July 22, 12:00 to 2:00 PM, public health care champions, national union leaders representing health care workers, patient advocates and others will gather for a car calvacade and rally for public health care.

Please register by filling out this registration form and emailing it to info@OntarioHC.ca.
