The Canadian Health Coalition’s next webinar features the latest analysis of the Canadian Dental Care Plan.

Join us on Tuesday, April 9 at 7:00 PM ET for a briefing on the Canadian Dental Care Plan and how to make it stronger and universal.

Guests Brandon Doucet, a dental surgeon and founder of the Coalition for Dentalcare, and Don Davies, NDP Health Critic, will join host Anne Lagacé Dowson, of the Canadian Health Coalition.

Dr. Brandon Doucet practices dentistry in Nova Scotia, and has been called the Tommy Douglas of dental care. Dr Doucet is the founder of the Coalition for Dental Care, as well as the author of a new book entitled “About Canada Dental Care” telling the story of how private business interests are blocking people from care and why dental care is excluded from Canada’s universal health care system.

Don Davies has been the NDP MP for Vancouver Kingsway since 2008, and is a member of the Standing Committee on Health of the House of Commons. A lawyer by training, Don has introduced more legislation in the House of Commons than any MP in the country. He has been a vocal proponent of dental care and pharmacare.

Anne Lagacé Dowson is a former CBC radio host and the Media Director for the Canadian Health Coalition.
