Health & Hope Lobby on Parliament Hill

Join public health care advocates and experts, health care workers and patients as we head to Ottawa to deliver our message to politicians: “Save our public health care system!”

2024 Health & Hope Lobby on Parliament Hill

Monday, February 12 | Tuesday, February 13 | Wednesday, February 14

We want the Canadian government to expand our public system to include universal pharmacare, public dental care, safe long-term care, and investments to support frontline health care workers. We don’t want more privatization, for-profit clinics, and a two-tiered system that benefits the wealthy over everyone else.

The Canadian Health Coalition’s Lobby features:

  • A conference and lobby training with other participants
  • Meetings with parliamentarians to share our demands
  • Reception on Parliament Hill
  • A post-lobby debrief and strategizing session

Check updates to the agenda here.

This year’s lobby day is part of the Canadian Health Coalition’s Health + Hope 2025 campaign to achieve the four health care commitments in the landmark cooperation deal between Liberal Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh.

  • Universal pharmacare
  • Safe long-term care
  • Public dental care
  • Investments in primary health care and in health care workers

Registration is now closed. For more information, contact Tracy at tglynn@healthcoalition.ca.
