The Canadian Health Coalition continues to grow with the addition of two more skilled and experienced staff team members.

Tracy Glynn, National Director of Operations and Projects, brings more than 20 years of experience working with social justice organizations, including non-profits and grassroots organizations. In 2020, she completed her PhD in Interdisciplinary Studies at the University of New Brunswick in the areas of political economy and sociology. Tracy’s health care advocacy includes work with Reproductive Justice New Brunswick and the New Brunswick Health Coalition.

Anne Lagacé Dowson, who has been assisting the Canadian Health Coalition as a communications consultant since December 2021, will become a permanent member of the staff responsible for Quebec-based outreach and media communications. She is an award-winning radio host and journalist, former host of CBC Radio One’s Radio Noon in Québec and former guest host and producer of CBC’s flagship programs, Cross Country Check Up and As It Happens. She is a frequent commentator on Radio-Canada and BellMedia. Anne is fluently bilingual and has a Masters degree in Canadian Studies.

Tracy and Anne join Steven Staples, National Director of Policy and Advocacy of the Canadian Health Coalition. He is a policy analyst, commentator and author with 30 years of experience working with community and labour organizations including the Council of Canadians and the Ontario Federation of Labour, and is the founder of the Rideau Institute on International Affairs. Steven is a member of the Ontario College of Teachers and received his Master of Leadership and Community Engagement from York University in 2021.
